Senior Manager Finance and Business Administration Eastern Europe (m/f/d) - Hybrid Model (remotely & in the office)

Tasks

Based on the delegation of your superior, you are functionally steering the team over different Group entities and locations in Eastern Europe.
Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Managing the production and audit of local closings, where applicable in the region.
  • Supporting the development of appropriate accounting guidelines.
  • Assessing local tax requirements, ensuring tax compliance in your region and assisting at audits and tax litigations.
  • Cooperation with and coordination of local tax consultants in alignment with the Corporate Tax Department.
  • Quality management and ensuring internal controls of Finance processes in your region.
  • Regional and local support of financial services processes (P2P, O2C).
  • Fostering continuous improvement, collaboration with different business units and maintaining the knowledge management according to defined standards.
  • Support in central or regional projects as required.

Requirements

The ideal Senior Manager Finance and Business Administration Eastern Europe (m/f/d) should meet the following requirements:

  • Master or equivalent or Bachelor in combination with vocational, aviation-specific training (“LVK”), desired with Finance, Legal or Business Admin background
  • 5+ years of experience and proven track record in management in a complex / cross functional & virtual Business administration & Finance environment or vocational training (3 years) and additional specific qualification (2 years) in BA as well as longstanding (more than 7 years) professional experience in Finance
  • Excellent diplomacy, negotiation and communication skills, intercultural competence
  • Strong analytical ability, problem solving competence in complex environment (e.g. group wide processes)
  • Think and act as part of the LH Group and the different PO-communities
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Proven track record in driving change and strong decision-making abilities
  • Willingness to travel
