About the position
One of our key activities is the consulting of customers on their data products, another is the development of data-driven applications, typically on cloud infrastructure or on-premise, less often on desktop. As a Data Analyst you will help our clients to shape their products by state-of-the art methods and reports, including accessible graphical representation - in a product team or directly with our client. The work includes, but is not solely bound to classical statistical evaluations, sometimes coupled to artificial intelligence or statistical learning . We work in mobility, and energy with applications including geopositioning, motion profiles, prediction of device stati, energy production and consumption, and clever display of the corresponding data.
Your work will involve:
- Analysis of large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaboration with our data engineers, developers, and stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and provide insights.
- Ensurance of data consistency and correctness while also assisting in the advancement of data processing and collection techniques.
- Applying advanced analytic methodologies, utilise visualisation tools, support the creation of analysis, KPIs and dashboards or write customised reports.
Your profile
Must-Have Skills:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience interpreting data in an analytics, data science or data engineering role.
- Expertise in statistics, normal and non-normal.
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in Python data management.
- Experience with data visualisation.
- Previous experience working in an agile team environment.
- Fluency in both German and English at the C1 level.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as STEM, or a related area), advanced degrees are preferred.
Bonus Points for Having:
- Knowledge in cloud platforms (such as AWS).
- Experience with production code for inference / data analysis.
- Experience in artificial intelligence/machine learning.
- Experience with using SQL.
