Tasks

As an Application Manager in Handling/Sales IT, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You work both independently and as part of a team to develop innovative solution concepts and ensure their successful implementation
• With your distinctive know-how, you advise specialist departments on all aspects of the further development and operation of the applications for which you are responsible
• You are in regular coordination and control the applications across the board with regard to test and acceptance concepts up to trouble-free commissioning
• You always keep an eye on customer and user satisfaction, as well as actively managing the IT service providers
• You install, configure and monitor software and hardware in the logistics area to ensure smooth operational processes

Requirements

You have a high level of technical understanding and are an attentive and responsible team player. In addition to personal responsibility and the ability to work under pressure, you have the following skills:

• Completed university degree in business informatics, economics or knowledge acquired through relevant training and professional experience
• Specific knowledge in the area of IT projects, DevOps is desirable
• Process expertise in the area of freight handling and logistics desirable
• Experience of working on or managing projects
• Good knowledge of agile methods, SCRUM, ITIL/IT service management
• Fluency in German and English
