Tasks
In this role you'll focus on understanding customer needs, communicating with stakeholders, customizing services and collaborating closely with our technical experts to build impactful data and AI solutions.
- Drive new revenue by aligning aviation and logistics customer needs with our current and future data and AI solutions
- Tap new business potential by identifying high-value target customers
- Track business development progress along a transparent, decentralized process and follow-up to make sure we’re delivering on deadlines
- Partner with sales peers to make data & AI connections and create opportunities to build data & AI use cases with new external customers
- Support pricing strategies that reflect value creation
- Generate excitement and commitment for innovative data & AI solutions with new and potential customers
- Collaborate with other circles to define innovative solutions that drive business transformation
- Leverage your sales enablement skills to drive business development and coach colleagues

Requirements
You'll need a proven track record in supporting closing deals within the data and AI services and solution development space, preferably within the airline or broader aviation industry, and of developing and running effective sales teams and business development pipeline.
- A human-centric approach to problem solving, that embraces a global approach in applying DEI principles within our business development processes
- The skill to think outside of the box, customize our services, and create compelling business cases to ensure we build data and AI solutions that lead to customers success
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences, including technical experts and global stakeholders
- Experience in mentoring and developing sales and customer-centric skills with technical colleagues
- Passion and curiosity for data technologies, ML, and analytics tools
- Proficiency in English and German at a business fluent level
